Instructions
Cut the tofu into about 8 slices and set aside.
Add canola oil to a large pan on high heat. We want the depth of the oil to be about 1/2 inch.
Combine all the breading ingredients in a medium sized bowl and whisk thoroughly.
Dredge the tofu into the breading mixture, pressing it into the filets on all sides.
Place the tofu filets into the oil and fry for about 8 minutes or until golden brown on both sides, flipping after about 3-4 minutes. Drain on a paper towel or a cooling rack.
Notes
DO NOT drain the tofu! We need this liquid to help bind the breading to it.
